About Marston Luce Antiques

Marston Luce Antiques was opened in 1981 with my late wife and partner, Julie Southworth. From the beginning our enthusiasm was for 18th and 19th century painted furniture, folk art, pottery, and all things pertaining to the garden.

Today, little has changed except for the origin of the inventory which now is primarily from France and Sweden. More than half of each year is spent in France where I search for furniture of character and exceptional decorative pieces, not only in Paris but also in the Dordogne (the Southwest) where I live. Maintaining a vast network of contacts with dealers and collectors has enabled us to offer a rich, varied visual odyssey for those seeking the best.

For the last 30 years humble elegance has been the central aesthetic principle at Marston Luce.

Tom Vogt, the store manager, is always available to welcome you warmly and answer any questions you might have. Shipping arrangements can be easily expedited to anywhere in the country.
